Farid Zodan
IraqFarid Zodan started his professional career in 1980 with the National Ballet of Iraq. He moved to London where he continued his studies in Rambert School and Middlesex University (Master in Performing Arts and Choreography). He now lives in Spain and gives workshops in contemporary dance, jazz, oriental dance, contact and Arabic percussion, nationally and internationally.
Furthermore, he has worked as a percussionist with Led Zeppelin and is now the leader of a musical group specialized in Arabic Jazz and traditional Iraqi music.
HALIGIHaligi dance is the dance of the Persian Gulf. We will study the technique, the style and the combinations of the Haligi style from Iraq.
